Seeking Part-Time Staff Reporters Redwood Times Redwood Times, our local Southern Humboldt weekly publication is seeking two experienced Part-Time Staff Reporters to cover local news in the Southern Humboldt area.
Job Qualifications include:
News Reporting/Writing Skills Knowledge of Associated Press Style guidelines Advanced Word Processing and Computer Skills Essential Interviewing Skills Good Phone Manner and Interpersonal Communication Skills Able to handle daily/weekly deadlines and work as a team player Ability to take photos and video Must have a Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance College Degree preferred in Journalism, Communications, or English Literature.
Minimum of two years professional newspaper experience also preferred.
Prefer Southern Humboldt resident as well.
