Area Director, Case Management

This Area Director will oversee Case Management for two acute care facilities. Client will pay all interview expenses and provide relocation assistance.

We are seeking a registered nurse with leadership experience in Case Management and Utilization review in an acute care setting.

The Area Director of Case Management and Utilization Review is responsible for the development, planning, coordination and administration of a systematic program designed to appropriately deploy resources for meeting the patient's social service, discharge planning needs, both pre and post discharge, and the Care Transitions Program.

The Director is responsible for ensuring that patients are placed in the most appropriate venue for the desired intensity of care; that relevant staff and physician education is comprehensive and timely; and that prospective, concurrent and retrospective utilization review is robust and ongoing. In addition, incumbent is responsible for providing oversight and coordinating responsibility for hospital Infection Control activities. This includes organization-wide harm reduction, infection prevention and surveillance activities. Minimum Position Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
At least Five (5) years experience in nursing case management or quality management and at least Three (3) years of management experience in an acute care setting.

Licensure /Certification:
Current California RN License or equivalent; Certification in Case Management (CCM) within two years of hire.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
