Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist
Job Responsibilities
As a Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist you will maintain and improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes, while maintaining productivity and quality standards as well as legal and company compliance.
Additional responsibilities of the Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist include but not limited to:
Provide medication therapy management services
Implement and adapt MTM software to meet MTM objectives
Critically evaluate drug therapy regimens for patients enrolled in the case management program and assist with developing treatment plans
Develop and conduct retrospective drug use reviews
Review medication prior authorization requests and appeals as they may pertain to MTM objectives
Assess, review and respond to federal and state regulatory requirements/audits of the pharmacy benefit
Consult with clinicians and pharmacists to resolve pharmacy benefit issues

Specific Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist requirements:
oArea: Ability to work in the Northern California Area
oLicensure requirements: Must have valid, open and active California Pharmacist license
oEducation: PharmD or B.S.
oYears of
Experience: 1-3
year(s) of recent pharmacy experience within an hospital or ambulatory care setting or as a MTM Pharmacist
oSchedule: Depends on your schedule- WORK FROM HOME.
oLength of Assignment: Long Term Temporary
oPay: DOE
oBackground/drug requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, client health screening criteria and drug screen
