Under direction, provides oversight and programmatic development, coordination and implementation for multiple and/or complex programs or service delivery systems in the Department of Health and Human Services- Behavioral Health for our adult justice involved programs (services provided within the Humboldt County Correctional Facility, Community Corrections Resource Center & Diversion programs in our outpatient settings); performs administrative oversight of integrated programs and program support; performs related work as assigned.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS This class is responsible for the effective implementation of multiple complex programs offering direct services to clients, including program development, and integration of programs and services.
Programs may include non-direct services such as training, resource development, and research and evaluation, and client and stakeholder advisory groups.
Services may include family intervention, psychiatric crisis services, intensive and habilitative day treatment, individual, group, or family psychotherapy, alcohol and other drug treatment and prevention, and a variety of related support services.
This class is characterized by administrative and programmatic responsibilities in addition to staff supervision.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
