We are seeking a dynamic, highly-skilled Retail Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to work Monday to Friday, with no night shifts, no on-call duties, and no weekend work.
This position is within the medical industry, offering a fast-paced, stimulating environment where you can apply and enhance your expertise in medication dispensing and pharmacy management.
You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring our customers receive the best care and advice, contributing to our mission of improving health and wellness in our community.
Responsibilities:
As a Retail Pharmacist, your primary responsibilities will include:
1.
Accurately dispensing prescription medications to patients, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services.
2.
Providing expert clinical advice to customers, answering queries and offering solutions to a range of health issues.
3.
Assisting in the management of the pharmacy, including inventory control, maintaining pharmacy records, and overseeing pharmacy technicians.
4.
Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to pharmacy practice.
5.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patient effectiveness.
6.
Educating patients on drug therapies, potential side effects, and correct medication usage.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
A PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
2.
A current, valid license to practice pharmacy in the state.
3.
A minimum of 2
years' experience working as a Retail Pharmacist or similar role.
4.
Proficiency in medication dispensing and pharmacy management.
5.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to a diverse customer base.
6.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain attention to detail.
7.
A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy, and maintaining professional relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
